Overview
The Kyoritsu KEW 2117R is a True RMS AC clamp meter that auto-ranges across 60, 600 and 1000 A, with 0.01 A resolution on the lowest range. The jaw takes conductors up to 33 mm in diameter and is designed with a safety barrier for the hand.
Alongside current it measures AC and DC voltage to 600 V, resistance to 600 kΩ and continuity. The over-moulded body is shaped for one-hand use, and two AAA cells give about 170 hours of operation. It is rated IEC 61010-1 CAT IV 300 V / CAT III 600 V and IP40.
