Overview
The Kyoritsu MODEL 1009 is a general-purpose digital multimeter with a 3999-count display and both automatic and manual ranging. It measures AC and DC voltage up to 600 V and AC and DC current directly from 400 µA up to 10 A, which makes it useful for checking loads, supplies and control circuits.
It also covers resistance to 40 MΩ, continuity, diode test, capacitance, frequency and duty cycle. Power comes from two AA (R6) cells, and the meter switches itself off after about 30 minutes to save battery. It is rated to IEC 61010-1 CAT III 300 V.
