Overview
The Kyoritsu KEW 1030 is a pen-shaped digital multimeter that weighs about 100 g. It measures DC voltage to 600 V, AC voltage to 600 V, resistance to 40 MΩ, capacitance, frequency and duty cycle, and has a continuity buzzer and diode test.
A penlight lights up the test point and the LCD has a backlight, which helps inside panels and poorly lit spaces. The test lead winds into a compartment at the back of the meter. It runs on two LR44 button cells and is rated IEC 61010-1 CAT III 600 V.
