Overview
The Kyoritsu KEW 1051 is a high-performance True RMS multimeter for electrical and electronic troubleshooting in industrial plants. Basic DC voltage accuracy is ±0.09% rdg ±2 dgt, voltage ranges extend to 1000 V AC and DC, and current ranges run from 600 µA to 10 A.
A low-pass filter helps when measuring the output of variable-speed motor drives, and a K-type temperature input (with optional probe) covers −50 to 600 °C. For industrial safety it is rated CAT IV 600 V / CAT III 1000 V, has a terminal shutter that blocks wrong insertion of leads into the current terminals, and operates from −10 to 55 °C.
