Overview
The Kyoritsu KEW 1019R is a compact True RMS digital multimeter for everyday electrical work. It measures DC voltage from 600 mV to 600 V, AC voltage up to 600 V, resistance up to 40 MΩ and capacitance up to 600 µF, and includes a continuity buzzer.
True RMS sensing gives correct AC readings on distorted waveforms, which are common on circuits feeding electronic loads. The meter runs on a single CR2032 coin cell (about 120 hours of use) and ships in a fitted hard case. It is rated to IEC 61010-1 CAT III 300 V / CAT II 600 V. It has no current ranges, so pair it with a clamp meter when you also need to measure load current.
