Overview
The Kyoritsu KEW 3125B is a high-voltage insulation tester with test voltages of 250, 500, 1000, 2500 and 5000 V. At 5000 V it measures insulation resistance up to 1000 GΩ (1 TΩ), with a short-circuit current of 1.5 mA.
Polarisation Index (PI) and Dielectric Absorption Ratio (DAR) functions support insulation diagnosis on cables, transformers and rotating machines. A filter function reduces noise interference for steadier readings, the large display has a bar graph and backlight, and a live-voltage warning is built in. It runs on eight C-size alkaline cells, ships in a tough hard case with a guard cord, and is rated CAT IV 300 V / CAT III 600 V. Each unit in this listing comes with a KEW test certificate.
