Overview
The Kyoritsu KEW 2003A is a 2000 A AC/DC clamp meter with large transformer jaws that accept conductors up to 55 mm in diameter. It measures DC current up to 2000 A and AC current on 400 A and 2000 A ranges, with a minimum resolution of 0.1 A.
An output terminal feeds a recorder (DC 400 mV at 400 A, DC 200 mV at 2000 A), so current can be logged over time. The meter also measures AC voltage to 750 V, DC voltage to 1000 V, resistance and continuity. It is rated IEC 61010-1 CAT IV 600 V / CAT III 1000 V.
