Overview
The Kyoritsu KEW 2300R is a fork-type current tester that slips over single conductors up to 10 mm in diameter without opening a jaw, which makes it quick to use in crowded wiring. It measures AC and DC current up to 100 A with True RMS AC sensing and 0.1 A minimum resolution.
DC current zeroing is one button press, and a non-contact voltage function sounds a buzzer and shows "Hi" when AC voltage is present. It weighs about 110 g, runs on two AAA cells and is rated IEC 61010-1 CAT III 300 V.
