Overview
The Kyoritsu KEW 8031 checks the phase sequence of three-phase supplies from 110 to 600 V AC (50/60 Hz) and shows whether any phase is open, in one small, sealed unit. It is typically used before connecting motors, pumps or generators so they turn the right way.
The CE-type version listed here is rated IEC 61010-1 CAT IV 300 V / CAT III 600 V. It comes with 1.5 m colour-coded leads (red, white, blue) and a carrying case. Continuous use above 500 V is limited to 5 minutes.
