Overview
The Kyoritsu KEW 4105A is a digital earth resistance tester for earthing electrodes and earthing systems. It measures earth resistance on 20, 200 and 2000 Ω ranges using the 3-pole (precision) method with auxiliary spikes, or a simplified 2-pole method with the supplied probe. It also measures earth voltage up to 200 V AC.
The 2 mA measuring current allows testing without tripping earth leakage breakers in the circuit, and the circuit design limits the influence of earth voltage on readings. The case is dust and drip proof to IP54 and the kit includes 20 m, 10 m and 5 m test leads and auxiliary earth spikes. It is rated IEC 61010-1 CAT III 300 V and conforms to IEC 61557-5.
